In 2024, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux delivered a bold programme of international collaboration and meaningful societal dialogue. The year’s highlights included the Finnish debut of Boys Won’t Be Boys under the creative direction of Rikkert van Huisstede and the Belgian premiere of One Drop, by acclaimed Cameroonian-Finnish choreographer Sonya Lindfors at Beursschouwburg in Brussels, marking a milestone in promoting the sustainable and long-term internationalisation of Finnish art as part of the pARTir initiative.
