Join our *new* Intensive Finnish Course for Beginners starting on 17.3.2025. This online course is designed to prepare students for the Level 2 class starting in the autumn.

Dates: The course takes place online from March to May. The group meets on Monday and Friday evenings and may include an occasional class on a Thursday evening. Each class lasts three hours, starting at 18.00 CET and includes a 15 minutes break.

Location: Our courses are held online, using Zoom. Please note that the lessons are not recorded. You do not need to be in Belgium to take the course, you are welcome to join from anywhere in the world.

Fee: The fee for the Intensive Beginners Online Course is 600 euros. Payment must be made before the start of the course to the account of The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux. You will receive the payment details after registering. The group uses the textbook Suomen mestari 1 (Finnlectura). Please note the textbook is not included in the course fee.

The courses take place when there are at least 6 enrolled students per course.

Johanna Råman has been appointed as the new Director of the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux. Råman begins her four-year term on 1 October 2025, succeeding Laura Boxberg, who has served as Director of the Institute and led its operations since 2021.
