The City of Oulu in Northern Finland and the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux have the pleasure to invite you to the office of the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux to hear more about the European Capital of Culture, Oulu2026, and explore potential international collaboration opportunities for the Oulu2026 programme. International cooperation
The European Capital of Culture, Oulu2026 is seeking partners to become part of the capital of culture programme in 2026. The Open Call 2022 is aimed at large-scale projects that require longer preparation and production time.
The goal of Oulu2026 is to achieve a permanent Cultural Climate Change and to use culture to fuel positive development in Northern Finland. The Oulu2026 programme is built around three programme themes: Wild City, Cool Contrasts and Brave Hinterland. All Open Call proposals should relate to these themes.
