On October 10th, EUNIC Netherlands members took part in an internal training event on anti-racist practices. The training was led by The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux and hosted by the British Council in the Netherlands.

The internal training was instigated by the EUNIC Netherlands Cluster’s Equity, Equality, Anti-Racism working group, which is working towards a more inclusive and equitable approach to culture in the cluster’s projects. « I was pleased to discuss openly with the different cluster members, and I am looking forward to our next steps in this important work » shared the training facilitator, Malin Bergström, Head of Programme at the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux.

The training took place hybrid with representatives of the British Council, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux, Tsjechisch Centrum Nederland, Goethe Institut Niederlande, Embassy of Malta in the Netherlands and EUNIC Netherlands intern Isabelle Reuser attending in person and joined online by the Embassy of Austria in The Netherlands.
