“We are thrilled about the upcoming study trip to Amsterdam. This initiative offers Finland-based visual art professionals a unique opportunity to gain fresh insights, inspiration, and innovative approaches to digital operations. As with all our work, our aim is to strengthen international exchange and foster long-term collaboration between contemporary art professionals in Finland and the Netherlands. In selecting participants, we prioritised broad representation from museums and art organisations across Finland, ensuring that the knowledge gained benefits the entire sector. We see this trip as part of an ongoing series of impactful study visits and what better setting than the dynamic Amsterdam Art Week?” shares Laura Boxberg.

The tailored programme aims to offer participants knowledge and inspiration to develop their digital operations and implement new ways of operating in the visual arts scene in Finland. Additionally, the trip aims to facilitate international exchanges and cooperation between contemporary art professionals in Finland and the Netherlands.

The trip takes place 20.-23.5.2025 and is supported by the Niilo Helander Foundation and organised in collaboration with Amsterdam Art Week.
