Tilda Forss, Programme Assistant at the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux, is part of the jury for the Svenska Yle Literature Prize 2025. They’ve already immersed themself in two of the five Finn-Swedish novels selected by Svenska Yle’s Culture Editorial Board and are looking forward to the first discussion session this Thursday. The full list of nominated books will also be announced then, during a live-stream introducing the jury on Yle Arenan, 17:30 Finnish time.

‘I’m both excited and honoured to be part of the jury,’ Tilda says. ‘I look forward to reading high-quality Finn-Swedish literature, engaging in thoughtful debates with my fellow jurors, and ultimately helping select a deserving winner. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the talent and dedication of today’s Finn-Swedish authors.’
