Ensemble Gamut! TRIO: Aino Peltomaa, Ilkka Heinonen & Juho Myllylä

Ensemble Gamut! is a vibrant ensemble in search of new ways to perform early music. Their debut album UT (Eclipse Music) released in 2020 was received with critical acclaim and continued to win the Early Music Achievement of the Year 2020 award of the Finnish Early Music Society. The album also ranked as one of the best progressive albums of 2020 by The Progressive Aspect and nominated as album of the year by the Finnish public broadcaster YLE. Ensemble Gamut! brings medieval music from the Benelux to Finland, presenting music from the famous Gruuthuuse Manuscript in Finland in their concert ”I left my heart in Bruges” at the Sastamala Gregoriana festival. Besides Finland and The Netherlands the group has performed in Germany and will debut in Belgium at the Musica Divina festival in 2023.
