MASCULINITIES: Thoughts and Reflections

Déc 19, 2020 | Masculinities, News

We are happy to present you with the latest addition to our NEW Masculinities project – MASCULINITIES: Thoughts and Reflections.

With MASCULINITIES, we continue the conversation on masculinities in a widely accessible and pandemic-safe manner. We have invited writers, artists, researchers, thinkers to share their thoughts with us, and have commissioned new texts and works from various voices on the field, as well as highlighted existing projects for you to discover.

MASCULINITIES includes perspectives from researcher Nana Blomqvist, writer Arno Boey, artists Alexander Cromer, youth worker Koen Dedoncker, designer and writer Ervin Latimer, researcher Minna Salami, actor and writer Jani Toivola, along with new commissioned works by illustrator Caroline Suinner and photographer Nick Tulinen. MASCULINITIES also features artistic works by editor and writer Joppe De Campeneere and photographer Ahmet Polat.

In addition, have a look at this video reading of artist Alexander Cromer’s work Cogito, Ergo Sum, which is featured in our publication:

MASCULINITIES: Thoughts and Reflections will also be available in printed copies in 2021. If you are interested in a printed copy of the publication for yourself or to distribute at a suitable event? Get in touch with the institute.
