Finland gets freaky at Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival

Avr 7, 2025 | News

Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) is happening this year for the 43rd time between the 8th and the 20th of April. BIFFF is a fantasy and horror film festival and one of the biggest genre film festivals in the world, showing over 100 features and shorts. The festival has a unique atmosphere, hosting noisy audiences and interactive screenings where moviegoers have the opportunity to comment on the movies real-time and interact with the directors and producers.

« BIFFF is a major community event, which doesn’t take itself seriously and enjoys a good play. » shares our Head of Programme, Malin Bergström.

Two Finnish premieres at BIFFF

After Us, the Flood by Arto Halonen is a science fiction film that is focused around the themes of environmental disaster, climate change and time travel.
