The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux operates in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. While our offices are located in Brussels, we want to keep in touch and stay up to date with all the trends and future directions in our countries of operation. This is why we’re looking for new local advisors in The Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who is active in the local cultural field in their region, and always up to date, keeping an eye on what is happening and societal topics that are important. Broad knowledge of the arts and culture, and societal arena in the larger Benelux region.
An active, hands-on individual who can spot opportunities and possibilities individually.
The position is open to anyone suitable for it regardless of nationality, age, background, work experience, etc.
What will you do?
Keep an eye on the cultural scene in your region, spotting interesting opportunities, while keeping the Institute informed of events, organisations, or artists of interest. How to do this will be decided when starting, based on the availability and preferences of the advisor.
This position is on a voluntary basis, but a small compensation is offered.
What do we do?
The Institute is part of the network of 17 Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes, developing and sustaining a fruitful cultural connection between Finland and the Benelux. It is an independent, non-profit organisation funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture as well as various public and private funds.
