The training was led by The Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux and hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishcouncil.nl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British Council in the Netherlands<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The internal training was instigated by the EUNIC Netherlands Cluster&#8217;s Equity, Equality, Anti-Racism working group, which is working towards a more inclusive and equitable approach to culture in the cluster&#8217;s projects. This training sought to bring different institutions to sit down together, and look over their current Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion &#8211; DE&amp;I practices and share expertise and experiences of different working methods.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was pleased to discuss openly with the different cluster members, and I am looking forward to our next steps in this important work&#8221; shared the training facilitator, Malin Bergstr\u00f6m, Head of Programme at the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux.<\/p>\n<div>The training took\u00a0place hybrid with representatives of the British Council, the Finnish Cultural Institute for the Benelux, Tsjechisch Centrum Nederland, Goethe Institut Niederlande,\u00a0Embassy of Malta in the Netherlands and EUNIC Netherlands\u00a0intern Isabelle Reuser\u00a0attending in person and joined online\u00a0by the Embassy of Austria in The Netherlands.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>About EUNIC Netherlands<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eunic-netherlands.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EUNIC Netherlands<\/a> is the framework through which European national cultural institutes and other cultural representatives of European countries in the Netherlands co-operate in the development of unique multilateral cultural projects and initiatives.
