{"id":22664,"date":"2026-05-06T11:52:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T09:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/finncult.be\/?p=22664"},"modified":"2026-05-06T14:41:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T12:41:45","slug":"terike-haapojas-alternative-audio-tour-at-paleis-het-loo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/finncult.be\/fr\/terike-haapojas-alternative-audio-tour-at-paleis-het-loo\/","title":{"rendered":"Terike Haapoja&rsquo;s alternative audio tour at Paleis Het Loo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the group exhibition <em>State of Wander: Towards Environmental Restoration <\/em>at Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn (17.4\u2013 27.9.2026), <strong>Terike Haapoja<\/strong> presents <em>Of Foreign Beasts and Other Rarities, <\/em>2026.<\/p>\n<p>Developed together with <strong>Genesis Victoria<\/strong>, the project includes an audio tour in the historical quarters of the palace, that takes the listener on a journey through these often untold stories that underlie official historical narratives; a one-channel video work that views the palace in the dark as a crime scene; and a series of photographs.<\/p>\n<p>Shifting away from individual royal biography, the work foregrounds plants, animals and multispecies perspectives shaped by colonial trade and capitalist expansion. Outside, the clapping of hoofs from a horse in the courtyard.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Paleis Het Loo is a haven, a place of quiet for the royals, far from the tumult and chatter of the city.
